From 09 June to 05 October 2024, the 5th Kyllburg Art Route will take place in the "Hahn" town park. It's easy to find your way around: the route is signposted. You can recognise the art route by the blue signs with the art route logo. You will find a sign with a QR code for each work of art. Scan the QR code with your smartphone. This will take you to the Kyllburg Art Route website where you will find all the information about the artwork and artist. For the 5th time, the Kyllburg Art Route is part of the Rhineland-Palatinate Cultural Summer and is supported by it. We are following the motto of the Kultursommer: "Compass Europe: Stars of the South" and interpreting this as "Colour and Light" in 2024. This year, the curatorial group selected 13 artists: Dagmar Engels, Heinz Grün, Elisabeth Hatscher, Ben Hirtz, Christof Janik, Theo Kemen, Timo Leemans, Adina Medrut, Toni Nemes, Christine Nicolay, Lydia Oermann, Amber Rijcken and Bien van Heek Encounter nature and art with an open mind. Perhaps you will discover something that no one has ever seen before. Enjoy nature and the forest. The circular route through the "Hahn" city park is easily accessible, but unfortunately not barrier-free. In the centre of the route booklet you will find a route map for orientation. In the route booklet you will find information on the artists and their artworks and on our workshops and events taking place over the summer until the finissage on 5 October 2024. We would like to thank our diverse and committed cooperation partners, sponsors and local companies who support us. The art route would not be possible without the commitment of so many people from Kyllburg and the region. More than 15 people work on a voluntary basis in various teams and make the Kyllburg Art Route possible. We are open to support in any form or donations. The best place to start the art route is at the Haus der Begegnung in Kyllburg. There are plenty of parking spaces there. Groups can request a guided tour at kunstroute-kyllburg.de.
