As the demand for regional and fresh local products continues to grow, the incentive to offer such items also continues. ‘From the Eifel for the Eifel’ is the Farmer’s Market slogan. Since 2006, locals and tourists alike have been purchasing local agricultural products directly from its producer. The Farmer’s Market can be found somewhat hidden next to the Sparkasse Bank between Trier Straße and ‘Bedaplatz’. Products range from meat, cheese, honey and eggs to juice, schnapps and liquors as well as many other high quality products. Keep an eye out for the regional product label ‘Marke Eifel’.
