Dudeldorf Castle
Dudeldorf
Dudeldorf Castle is a two wing Manor House dating back from the eighteenth century with a three-storey tower on the south-west side. Allegedly it was built after a French archetype. Under the present circumstances, it is difficult to retrace the original foundations of the castle. The listed building is not only being used as living quarters but also as a place to offer high-quality cultural venues. Theatre, concerts and exhibits take place inside and outside the castle. A particular highlight is the annual open-air cinema which takes place in the castle courtyard. During the summer months, the castle gardens are open to the public and invite to stay and linger a while.
